Example 2 : Registration/intake in a benefits scheme for households/families with members with disab

This process provides an example for generic use of the event subscription between DR and other systems. The child benefit is a component of the Social Assistance Policy, which ensures that newly registered children with disability are considered for financial assistance based on their family's economic status. This process integrates children registration with benefit determination to support families who meet the criteria. 

The newborn benefit is designed to support families by providing financial assistance to newborns whose households are below the poverty line. This benefit is intended to ensure that families in need receive timely support to cover essential expenses for their newborns.

Process Flow

The scheme is a key part of the Social Assistance Policy, offering financial support to families of newborns whose economic situation qualifies them for aid. The goal is to provide immediate assistance to families in need, ensuring that their newborns receive the necessary support for a basic standard of living.

Assumptions	The Social Registry provides data on children that registered with disability and under poverty score. Eligibility is determined based on the family’s economic status and poverty score.
Prerequisits	Social Registry provides the poverty score. Applicant provides consent for data sharing and processing by SP systems.
Process Inputs	The input for the child Benefit Enrollment Process is the child registration details from the SR system.
Process Flow Steps	The child under poverty score is registered in the SR system, which triggers an event subscription to the Disabled Registry. The Disabled Registry after doing assessment, sends a live feed to the SP-MIS, notifying it of the new registration. SP-MIS verifies the family’s bank account details. If the account is valid, the details are added to the SP-MIS Payment List, and the family is notified of the successful enrollment and benefit transfer.
Outputs	Through interoperability with the Social Registry, Disabled Registry and SP-MIS can request and exchange beneficiary information securely. Based on the received data, SP-MIS can promptly determine eligibility and enroll the child in the benefit program.
Control Points	A control point is set at SP-MIS when receiving the event feed from the Disabled Registry. If registration details are valid, the process continues. If not, the request may be terminated. A control point is set at SR when receiving enrollment if child is with disability and poor. The family qualifies, the process continues. If not, the enrollment request may be terminated.
