This process provides an example of the generic use of the event subscription between a DR and other systems. The benefit is a component of the social assistance policy, which ensures that houses registered with a person with a disability are considered for financial assistance based on their family's economic status. This process integrates household registration with benefit determination to support families that meet the criteria.

Description

Actors and Entities

SP system, DR, social registry

Assumptions

  • The social registry provides data on households with a registered PWD that are under the poverty score.

  • Eligibility is determined based on the family’s economic status and poverty score.

Prerequisites

  • The social registry provides the poverty score.

  • The applicant provides consent to data sharing and processing by SP systems.

Process Inputs

The input (registration details) for households with a member with a disability is the social registry system.

Process Flow Steps

Step 1: The household is registered in the social registry system, which triggers a notification to the DR for members flagged with a disability.

Step 2: After assessing the member, the DR sends a live feed to the SP system notifying it of the new registration.

Step 3: The SP system enrolls the household in the programme.

Step 4: The SP system verifies the family’s bank account details. If the account is valid, the details are added to the SP system payment list and the family is notified of the successful enrolment and benefit transfer.

Outputs

Through interoperability with the social registry, the DR Registry and SP system can request and exchange beneficiary information securely. Based on the received data, the SP system can promptly determine eligibility and enroll households in the benefit programme.

Control Points

A control point is set in the DR when receiving the notification feed from the SP system. If registration of member disability status is approved, the process continues. If not, the request may be terminated.

Exception Handling

Refer to Exception Handling for alternate flows.
