Process

The process pages describe the core generic interoperability processes between Social Protection (SP) systems and Employment Support systems. These processes define how the two systems exchange information in a standardized and secure way to ensure coordinated service delivery for individuals who may need both income support and employment assistance. The processes are designed to be flexible, adapting to various contexts based on the unique needs of each program. This interface focuses on four primary processes:

  1. Referral of Social Protection beneficiaries to Employment Support programs: This process describes how the SP systems can identify beneficiaries who may benefit from employment support and electronically refer them to the Employment Support system for assessment, counselling, and participation in activation measures.

  2. Referral of Employment Support applicants to Social Assistance programs: This use case describes how the Employment Services system can flag jobseekers who may be eligible for social assistance and securely share relevant information with the SP system to support eligibility assessment and enrollment.

  3. Proactive Enrolment of SP Registered Households in Employment Support Programs: The process outlines supports request of a list of potential beneficiaries who meet specific eligibility criteria to begin enrollment in a program

  4. Updates of program Beneficiaries Attributes for Integrated Case Management & Monitoring to maintain up-to-date records

  5. Status Verification: This process describes how the SP systems and Employment Support systems query and verify individuals' participation statuses across various programs.

Together, these processes enable SP and Employment Support systems to operate as an integrated, person-centred ecosystem. They support timely services provision, more efficient case management, and a smoother experience for beneficiaries navigating both systems.

Please refer to the sub-pages in this section for more details of these processes as well as examples to illustrate the flow.
